The word Religion

400_F_16677579_u1mmLLgrgXB7hc9bUkyDOuUCISDt1iClWhat Religion should be?

Religion should be to think and do good for humanity and all other living beings who exist on our mother earth. And in one or the other way all Religions may it be Hinduism, Sikhism, Christanity Or Islam. All the religions teach us that we should not think or do bad of others. Religion is just a name the main aim of Religion is Peace to our minds through prayers or meditation. Yes! All the Religions teach us the same things in one way or the other.

What Religion is?

The word Religion has travelled far away from what it should be. Humans have used this word for their Personal benefits, it has been a part of politics. People are asked to vote in the name of Religion. For monetary benefits religion is the easiest thing to use. People have gone rich just in the name of Religion. Religion has been used in such a way today that the reality is hidden from its followers and it is manipulated in the way which is beneficial to the ones who have become the so called heads of this word RELIGION.

Is it overrated?

Yes! To some extend it is. Our Religion should not be Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christianity instead it should be Humanity.

I do accept the fact that there is some power some where which listens to us and that divine power gives us the power to fight, live and exist in this cruel world. Call it Religion or Call it anything but don’t play games on the name of that Divine Power!

I agree with you. I even wrote a post on the same. Humanity should be the religion and differences should be discouraged.

Very well said Nikita. To understand Religion, one need not be a Scientist or a Philosopher or highly educated. It just needs an open mind. Religion is the Creator’s School that enrolls humanity and teaches them to be human and bring peace and love to humanity. It is not a tool to be used. Those who even think of using Religion for whatsoever purpose have no reason to be called religious or followers of any religion.

Religion offers protection just like an Antivirus to its followers, it shows the true path of success in this world and in the hereafter. Those who have understood it practice it by good deeds and those who are unable to understand it are misguided.

    Good post, keep writing.

    Dear Ms.Nikita,

I concur with your view on religion. Religious Bigots and Politicians alike politicize it suit their narrow and selfish interests. To me religion is democracy, secularism and humanism in short.Nations interests will’ve to be given top priority by rising above religious bigotry and vote bank politics.Well Written.

I think religion is good for teaching values, and providing a sense of community, but too often, it becomes a divider.

    1. Naiyyas says:
